Community Open House & Celebration of Local Shining Stars

FreeWWRI – Kent County Rock’s own John Parente will be one of those honored for his contributions to inform the town’s residents of the continuing coverage of the issues of vital importance to Coventry, and in celebration of his 50 years in the industry.
Join us on Monday, May 16 from 6-8 pm at the NEW Coventry Resource and Senior Center as we celebrate some of our town’s shining stars who have made above and beyond contributions to our community. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet with town and school department staff to learn more about how they work, some of their accomplishments in the last year, and the proposed budget for the upcoming year. This is an informal, drop-in-style event so feel free to visit anytime between 6 and 8 pm.
This event is free for all residents. There will be light refreshments, bocce on the courts outside of the facility and a change to talk with municipal and school department officials.
